After law school and passing the bar, Ms. Harvey immediately started working as Corporate Counsel for a service-disabled veteran-owned small business in Roseville, California where she worked until late 2011.  As Corporate Counsel for this corporation, Ms. Harvey handled all legal related issues including all human resources, employment law issues, public contract law review, negotiations with major primes and the federal and state government, and all contract creation, modification and administration.

In 2011 Ms. Harvey saw the need to open her own firm to assist other small businesses in the Sacramento region. She identified the need to have attorney services available to small businesses in order to protect both the companies and the individuals running them when conducting business deals.

Ms. Harvey was recognized for her scholastic achievements in law school by being named to the Roger J. Traynor Honors Society, receiving Gordon Foundation Scholarships, being named to the International Advocacy Honors Board, and receiving Trial Advocacy Honors in addition to being named to the Deans List. She was recognized for her community support for the attorney mentor work she did with the Placer County Peer Court program and was named the 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023 Best of the Best Attorney by the Auburn community.  Ms. Harvey was also named one of the top 40 business professionals under the age of 40 in the Sacramento region in 2017. Both in 2016 and 2017 Ms. Harvey was nominated for the award of Women Who Mean Business by the Auburn Journal.

Most recently Ms. Harvey was elected to sit as a Trustee for the Placer Hills Unions School District where she held the position of President for two years (terming out) and currently sits as Board Clerk.  She currently also serves as a board member for Auburn Ski Club.  In the past Ms. Harvey has served as a Director, President and Vice President for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, a Director for Placer Hills Education Foundation and participated in Dancing with the Placer County Stars, a fundraiser for local non-profit Stand Up Placer, an organization that supports survivors of domestic violence and was named the Star Fundraiser.

In her free time Ms. Harvey enjoys spending time with her family and close friends, volunteering her time, cooking, skiing during the winter and mountain biking and hiking in the summer.
